Head Softball Coach Jim Speciale was named by the National Federation of State High School Associations as both Oregon Girls Softball Coach of the Year and Northwest Section Coach of the Year for Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Washington and Wyoming for 2019-2020. Coach Speciale was chosen for this prestigious regional award based on his performance on the field, lifetime of community and school involvement, and philosophy of coaching.
“Coach Speciale is one of the rare three-sport coaches at Jesuit,” said Ahtletic Director Mike Hughes. “He coaches students in freshman football, JV2 girls basketball, and our varsity softball program. His remarkable commitment to our school is a generous gift of time and leadership to our student athletes. Coach Speciale teaches teamwork, dedication, poise, resiliency, grit, sportsmanship, and integrity in our players."
