Principal's Blog: God Moments

On December 3, 2018, we celebrated one of Jesuit's best fall sports seasons ever with a rousing assembly. It was tremendous fun recognizing our accomplished athletes. There isn't another school in the US that has had the consistent athletic success Jesuit has seen over the past 25 years.

But for all the well-deserved accolades our student-athletes earn, the upcoming Christmas Food Drive as well as events like last Friday's Christian Service Mass best illuminate our mission. At Friday's liturgy, juniors Catherine Myerson and Rupert Li offered reflections on their Christian service in the summer of 2018.

Rupert worked with elderly folks at Regency Park Assisted Living Center, while Catherine developed relationships with people with disabilities at Easterseals Camp Stand By Me. Both students had transformative experiences, as you will see in their reflections.

As we head into the Christmas season, let us take a moment to hear from these two remarkable young people, who exemplify what is right about Jesuit education and our students.
