International Women's Day

Today is International Women's Day – a time to celebrate, recognize and honor the achievements of women from the past, present and future. Guest speakers Kim Whitworth, Managing Director of the Oregon Health Leadership Council, and Kim Malek, the founder of Salt & Straw, will be coming to campus today to share their experiences and trailblazing accomplishments with students. An International Women's Day Gathering will take place for students to partake in informal presentations, community building and skill-building activities, and art projects in recognition of the day.

Our students, faculty, and staff have been invited to dress up as women throughout history, or wear purple or green (the colors for International Women's Day) to recognize and celebrate this important day. Today, and every day, we celebrate the phenomenal work women are doing for our community and world.
