Chloe Foerster '22 Sets Record for Fastest Outdoor Mile

Chloe Foerster '22 set the record for the fastest outdoor mile ever run by an Oregon high school female athlete last weekend. Chloe ran an incredible 4:40.27 mile – breaking the state record by 8 seconds -- at the Arcadia Track & Field Invitational in California, a meet that attracts the country's top athletes.

"I am so grateful for the opportunity to finally have a normal track season again. I am proud I was able to show off all the hard work that I've been doing the past couple of years in this race. I didn't even realize I would get close to running the State Record last weekend, but it is just the start of a really exciting season for me," said Chloe.

Congratulations Chloe!
