Jesuit Wins 6A OSAA Cup

Jesuit was awarded the 6A OSAA Cup for the 2022-23 school year. This prestigious award celebrates overall excellence in academics, activities, and athletics, and is the highest award given by the Oregon School Activities Association.

High schools in each classification earn points based on their participation and finishes in OSAA State Championships for athletics and activities. Schools also earn points for Top 10 finishes in Academic All-State programs. A sportsmanship component is included as well, where schools earn points for each season that their teams have no ejections.

“Receiving this award exemplifies all the hard work and commitment put forth by our students, athletes, coaches, trainers, and staff,” Athletic Director Colin Griffin '00 said. “This year’s success was truly a community effort.”

Jesuit finished off the year with 3921.5 points, making this the nineteenth 6A OSAA Cup award for the school. We’re so proud of our students, faculty and staff, coaches, administrators, and the entire school community for their dedication, passion, and hard work.
