We were also thrilled to hear that the Jesuit Student Media website was recognized by the OJEA as Best in Category for News Websites. Along with this, the site was recognized by SNO Sites as a SNO (School Newspapers Online) Distinguished Site, which was “developed to outline and disambiguate standards of excellence in online scholastic and collegiate journalism.” This is an incredible honor for our media program!
Finally, we offer our congratulations to Matias Crespo who earned 2nd Place in the “Just Video Contest” held by the Intercommunity Peace & Justice Center in Seattle. Matias submitted a short documentary film about Blanchet House and houselessness in Portland. You can watch the video and learn more here.
