Big Weekend for JHS Athletics

It was a big weekend for Jesuit High School athletics! The women's and men's tennis teams, along with our track and field team, saw great results.

Congratulations to head coach Kirsten Ruchaber and the women's tennis team for their phenomenal 2nd place finish at state this weekend!

Head coach Jeff Wood also led the men's tennis team to a remarkable 2nd place finish at state this weekend – congratulations!

Lastly, congratulations to head coach Laura Harmon, and the JHS women's track and field team for their impressive 3rd place finish at state this weekend! Achieving an individual title at state was Chloe Foerster '22 in the 1500m and 800m. Foerster won the 1500m and set an all-time state record of 4:24.39, beating the previous record held since 1981, for an overall 1st place individual finish at state. Emma Bennett '25 placed 3rd in the 1500m, setting an all-time freshmen state record in the 1500m, and 2nd in the 800m.
