Women's Track Relay Team Breaks Oregon State 4x1600-meter Relay Record

Wow! Our track team had a spectacular weekend at the Arcadia Invitational in California. Congratulations to Audrey O’Neill ’24, Maura O’Scannlain ’25, Emma Bennett ’25, and Amalie Beil ’24 who came away with a brand new Oregon state record in the 4x1600-meter relay! They finished the event in second place, with a time of 20 minutes and 25.80 seconds. The team broke a 21-year-old record last season, and this year's team broke last year's record by 25 seconds. Our women’s 4x1600 team is now officially ranked 2nd in the nation! Our men’s 4x1600 team of Coen Strub ’25, Caden Swanson ’24, Jackson Welsh ’26 and Kellen Williams ’26 ran 17:34, which ranks them 6th in the nation. Wow! We’re so proud of these awesome athletes!
