Classes

Concert Band

The Concert Band is designed for first-time musicians. Using wind band literature, we prepare students to learn an instrument and potentially join the Symphonic Band in the future. These students are welcomed to join our Pep Band club when ready. They may have concert performances in the Winter and Spring.

Jazz Ensemble

The Jazz Ensemble is made up of some of our finest musicians. Performing contemporary and classic Jazz literature, the Jazz Ensemble can be seen at community events, Jazz festivals, and may perform in 2 concerts per year.  Members of the Jazz Ensemble may audition for the All-State Honors Bands and other honors programs.

Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is the flagship ensemble of the Music department. Performing concert music for wind bands, the Symphonic Band performs in 4 concerts per year and attends various festivals and competitions. Members of the Symphonic Band audition for the All-State Honors Bands and other honors programs.

Clubs

Drumline

If there’s a drummer inside of you, this is made for you! Made up of students from throughout our programs, and the school in general, the Drumline is quickly becoming the “face” of the music department and is a part of every home football game and most home basketball games.

Pep Band

Here’s how we show school spirit!  Made up of students from our Symphonic and Concert Bands, as well as interested students from our Jesuit Community, the Pep Band is a part of every home football game and most home basketball games.

String Orchestra

The String Orchestra is rapidly growing in popularity and meets every other Friday from 2:45-4:15.
