Dear Parents and Guardians of Freshmen and Sophomores,

Due to the weather, we are postponing rapid-antigen testing for the Classes of 2023 and 2024 from today until Wednesday afternoon. As a reminder, classes on Wednesday end at 12:05 pm.

Many homes are without power, side roads are unsafe, and some medical staff responsible for testing cannot get to campus today.

Rapid-Antigen Testing - Change of Date

The rapid-antigen testing for Jesuit freshmen and sophomores will now occur on Wednesday, February 17, from 12:30-5:00 pm (note that this is Ash Wednesday, so we will also be dispensing ashes to those who wish to receive them).

We are asking Green and Gold frosh and sophs to sign up for a new time on Wednesday at this link: http://bit.ly/Jesuit_Wednesday_Feb17

If you had already signed up for a time between 12:30-3:00 pm on Wednesday and received confirmation, you do not have to re-register.

We realize that this is the third time many of you have signed up for testing -- thanks for your patience and flexibility as we navigate Mother Nature's latest challenges.

This Week's Schedule

As a consequence of moving today's testing, Jesuit will be in fully-remote learning for all students on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 16 and 17, to ensure that all students coming to campus have tested negative for COVID-19 before they return. In other words, Green and Gold freshmen will not come to school Tuesday and Wednesday, but will come Thursday and Friday per this schedule:

Gold Cohort freshmen and sophomores will come Thursday, 2/18 for periods 1-4 + Homeroom. Classes end at 2:40 pm on Thursday.
Green Cohort freshmen and sophomores will come Friday 2/19 for periods 5-6-7. Classes end at 12:05 pm on Friday.

The Gold Cohort comes on Thursday because the Green Cohort will have had Homeroom on Tuesday; the Gold Cohort has Homeroom on campus on Thursday. Gold students are reminded to bring a lunch on Thursday. Green students who are staying after classes end on Friday for activities, athletics, etc. should also bring lunch.
