Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
With great joy, we announce that Jesuit will be returning students to campus for hybrid learning beginning on Tuesday, February 9. This is one week after our originally announced return date of February 2.
As you know, this delay was the result of new guidelines announced by the Oregon Department of Education regarding COVID rates in our area. Now that those milestones have been reached due to COVID rates significantly dropping in the last two weeks, we eagerly anticipate welcoming our students back to the Jesuit campus.
Principal Paul Hogan will be providing you with many additional details in a subsequent email concerning safely returning to campus - including our academic schedule, our protocols, and the COVID testing which will be required before any students, faculty or staff return for hybrid learning.
We are grateful for the patience, understanding, grace and trust that have been extended by students and parents over the last eleven months since we were required to move to remote learning in March of 2020.
We are equally thankful for the heroic commitment shown by faculty and staff over that tumultuous time period given the enormous personal sacrifices that they have made to continue our mission of delivering an outstanding Catholic education in the Ignatian tradition to our students.
We are thrilled that our beloved students will be finally returning to our campus. It brings us tremendous joy and hope. Of course, we know that a number of our students will remain in fully-remote learning. We will continue to provide those students a top-quality Ignatian education, and are eager to keep them fully engaged in the Jesuit community.
Thank you in advance for your patience, flexibility and understanding in the days and weeks ahead. We are deeply grateful for your continuing partnership and support.
Peace. Gratitude. AMDG.
