Faith and Science in the World
Science and religion are often posed as two ends of a dichotomy. On one end, we have rational, concrete science, and on the other, we have (what some people think of as) blind, irrational faith. But the truth is that science and religion need each other: they are two complimentary halves of a greater whole. Lara Shamieh, Ph.D., biochemist and practicing Catholic, will explore the intersection of science and faith, and what the two can tell us about the world.
