Dear Friends,
I am honored to welcome you on behalf of the Jesuit community here at Jesuit High School. Now only nine strong, we are heirs to a long line of men who gave their energy to the education of young men, and, for the past seventeen years, young women.
Fr. Bill Hayes, S.J., Fr. Larry Robinson, S.J., and Fr. Ed McTighe, S.J., have long and distinguished histories here at JHS. They remain intimately involved with the many constituents of the JHS family. Their presence is the stability of our home and the school.
Fr. Pat Conroy, S.J. teaches freshman Theology and is the newly appointed Assistant Campus Minister here at school. We are excited to have him back full time on our faculty. His gifts with high school students are abundant and his presence brings much wisdom, laughter, and faith.
We are blessed indeed to have with us a wonderful young priest and alum of JHS, Fr. Paul Grubb, S.J. '92. Fr. Grubb teaches full time at JHS and also assists with retreats, Masses, and so much more. He is a wonderful role model for our young men and women.
I am also fortunate enough to teach while simultaneously serving as Superior of the Jesuit Community.
Finally, we have two men in our community who do not work directly at JHS, but are committed to and support its mission in many ways: Fr. Kevin Clarke, S.J., who serves as a chaplain for Providence Medical Center and Fr. Craig Boly, S.J. ’62, who continues his wonderful ministry as pastor of Saint Pius X Parish.
We are proud to be co-laborers at Jesuit High with so many excellent and dedicated faculty, staff, and administrators. It is a privilege to take part in the education of young men and women who are destined, we hope, for great things in service to God and others as they mature into adulthood.
Be assured of the Jesuits’ prayers for all who love and support Jesuit High School.
Fr. J.K. Adams, S.J. Superior
