Freshman and junior students are welcome to invite their grandparents to our annual Grandparents' Day Celebration on Friday, April 11, 2014. The morning will consist of a continental breakfast for students and their grandparents, Liturgy celebrating the feast of St. Peter Canisius in the Knight Gym, and special student performances in the Moyer Theater. We set aside this day to give thanks to grandparents and give them the opportunity to learn more about their grandchild's experience at Jesuit High School.
Freshman and Junior Parents!
You must fill out a Request for Invitation Form in order for your child's grandparent(s) to receive an invitation. Click here to download the Request for Invitation Form. These forms are due by Wednesday, December 18, to the DeSmet receptionist.
If you do not fill out the form, your child’s grandparent(s) WILL NOT receive an invitation. Grandparents will be mailed an invitation to the event in March. They need to RSVP at that time or they will not be on the event attendance list. Filling out the request for invitation form is not an RSVP. It is a request to receive an invitation only.
The safety and welfare of our community and guests is of utmost importance to Jesuit High School and is the reason why Grandparents’ Day is limited to freshman and junior classes only. Please note that sophomore and senior siblings of freshman or junior students are welcome to attend the breakfast with their grandparent(s).
