Financial Aid

Jesuit High School offers no merit-based scholarships besides the Muessle Family Fund, available only for eighth grade applicants who are the children of Jesuit High School alumni. The Muessle Family Fund provides assistance for the ninth grade year only. All other financial assistance is based on need. The financial aid application process is descibed below.

If you are interested in applying for financial assistance, please follow these steps:

1. Download and complete the financial aid application packet - English or Spanish version. Please note that in addition to printing and handwriting or typing directly on the application, you can also complete the application packet directly on your computer screen by placing your cursor at the appropriate fields and typing in the information. You can then print the completed document and save it to your computer for your records (if you are running Acrobat 7 or higher). Please note on the application that the filing deadline is January 18, 2013.
2. Send the Student Aid form plus a check or money order for $25.00 for the processing fee, directly to: Private School Aid Service, P.O. Box 89434, Cleveland, Ohio 44101-6434.
3. Required: copies of your 2011 Federal Income Tax return (1040 Form) and copies of all 2011 W2 and/or 1099 forms for individuals listed in Sections A and B of the application. If you have not filed or will not file a tax return, include all appropriate forms per Section M of the instructions.

NO APPLICATION WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THE ABOVE INFORMATION.

Private School Aid Service processes all the applications through a computer analysis and makes recommendations to Jesuit regarding the number of awards to be granted and the number of dollars in each award. The financial aid committee reviews the recommendations and makes the final decisions. Letters regarding your financial aid award will be mailed to you in March 2013. Due to the high demand, not every family that qualifies for financial aid will receive it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: FINANCIAL AID APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED IF THEY ARE SUBMITTED AFTER THE JANUARY 18, 2013 DEADLINE (postmarked by January 18th).
